Our Approach
When connecting with a coach, it's important to know how they approach the coaching relationship. Below are a few assumptions that form the basis of our approach to coaching. They are consistent with the credentialing standards of the International Coaching Federation.

I'm here to support your journey, not to direct it. You can expect me to be curious and enthusiastic about your interests, your plans, and your goals. And you can expect my influence to help you overcome obstacles that get in the way of your being and your doing. Throughout our work together, you will be in the driver's seat.

Your growth is unique to you. I do not approach our work together with any preconceived notions about where you have been, where you are today, or where your future is going to take you. Our work together should uncover and explore what influences have shaped who you are and who you aspire to be. I will encourage you to look openly, honestly, and lovingly at yourself.

Being present is my chief concern. There are many coaches who are known for driving action, and there are plenty of tools available to help cut through analysis paralysis. What I find exciting is how naturally action can flow when we truly understand who we are and what we want from life. And being fully present with you is critical as you explore, reflect, and consider tough questions.
