Leading Discussions
to Eliminate Ethical
Blind Spots
Leading discussions that surface and address ethical blind spots is critical for sound decision-making and organizational integrity. In this session, participants will explore key concepts from behavioral ethics, including subtle ways context and incentives can shape judgment. They will learn practical techniques for structuring discussions that encourage diverse perspectives, challenge assumptions, and make potential ethical risks more visible. Participants will also practice strategies for reducing defensiveness, navigating gray areas, and fostering a culture where speaking up is expected and supported. By the end of the session, participants will have a plan for leading discussions that improve decision quality and strengthen accountability.
This workshop is available in person or virtually in durations from 1 to 4 hours. Longer sessions allow time for guided self-assessment, in-depth discussion, and skill application. Regardless of duration, every workshop comes with a job aid summarizing key concepts.
