Embracing Lessons Learned to Generate Organizational Knowledge

Embracing lessons learned is essential for building a culture where organizations continuously grow, adapt, and improve. In this session, participants will explore how a growth mindset and appreciative inquiry can be used to uncover valuable insights from both successes and challenges. They will learn practical approaches for reflecting on experiences, asking generative questions, and capturing knowledge that can be shared and applied across teams. Through guided activities, participants will practice reframing setbacks as opportunities for learning and identifying strengths that can be amplified. By the end of the session, participants will have a plan for integrating lessons learned into everyday practices to strengthen organizational knowledge and drive improvement.

This workshop is available in person or virtually in durations from 1 to 4 hours. Longer sessions allow time for guided self-assessment, in-depth discussion, and skill application. Regardless of duration, every workshop comes with a job aid summarizing key concepts.
