Leading and Following
to Enable Collaboration
Effective collaboration relies on the ability to both lead and follow in a way that empowers others and drives collective success. In this session, participants will explore the dynamics of leadership and followership, examining how each role contributes to a team's ability to work together harmoniously. They will identify key behaviors that support both leading and following, and practice shifting between these roles depending on the situation. By the end of the session, participants will have strategies for balancing leadership and followership in a way that fosters trust, engagement, and high-performing teamwork.
This workshop is available in person or virtually in durations from 1 to 4 hours. Longer sessions allow time for guided self-assessment, in-depth discussion, and skill application. Regardless of duration, every workshop comes with a job aid summarizing key concepts.
