Managing Emotions
to Be Your Authentic Self
Emotional intelligence is essential for staying focused and acting in alignment with your values, especially when you are under pressure to perform. In this session, participants will explore emotional triggers that can hijack our decision making, and they will select techniques for regulating emotions in the moment. They will also explore how to identify and communicate feelings with others to ensure that their authentic self can be seen, heard, and respected. By the end of the session, participants will have a plan for how to manage their emotions and be authentic at work.
This workshop is available in person or virtually in durations from 1 to 4 hours. Longer sessions allow time for guided self-assessment, in-depth discussion, and skill application. Regardless of duration, every workshop comes with a job aid summarizing key concepts.
